Blog Assignment

Comment on the issue of monetizing in the social Network . What is your opinion ? Why is Facebook so successful?

In my opinion , I believe that monetizing , that is basically the advertisements , could be quite annoying in terms of a social network . Most of the users are not in favor of them and neither do I . Nevertheless , I think that before even considering monetizing a social network , that this social network must be succesful and very popular . Facebook , contains a lot of adveritsements and it's very successful . The reason is that it is quite innovative and somehow addictive . Eventually , I think that monetizing is essential if you see a social network as a buiseness , but it has to be a succesful and popular network so it wont discourage users by adds.

Is HTML important ?

Why is it important to learn HTML when designing websites?

In my opinion , I believe that the HTML code is very crucial concerning desinging websites not nessecarily for practical reasons , taking into consideration the rapid growth on websites with ready templates and easy formats to create your own website , but because having knowledge on this code is helfpul on adding personal things that you like in your website as well as the providence of  "independency" on your website.
Furthermore , I think that its essential to be aware of this code in order to have knowledge of the "old" way of creating websites , as a form of a knowledge of the Internet History . Finally I would like to think that the HTML code won't be eliminated on programming , but it will just progress as that is normal for everything .

Although , when I use it , I usually chat with my friends , listen to some music and sometimes I like playing Strategy games like World of Warcraft . A very famous strategy game . Copyright questions

How has copyright law benefited society?

The copyright law exists to protect the human rights , especially the rights concerning Internet . In my point of view the copyright law appears to be quite ineffective so far , as it needs a few improvements . Although this law is not effective it has managed to limit some copyright infringements . The majority of infrigments concern music , and I really believe that this law has flaws taking into consideration that a lot of singers lose their jobs because of this fact.

What would you change about copyright law, given the rapid growth of the Internet?

Taking into consideration the rapid growth of the Internet , I would change the present law and make it stricter and more efficient . I would also put some people , to check if this law works . Cyber police would also be efficient in order to fight against this problem .
